AfricLegal gathers African Union treaties, charters and protocols into a single app that works without an internet connection.
The African Union publishes its treaties and charters openly, but they are scattered across formats and pages that assume a researcher with a laptop and good bandwidth. For a student, an activist or a citizen with a phone, that is a wall.
AfricLegal collects the key instruments into one app, adds plain-language explanation alongside the source text, and stores the whole library on the device.
It is not affiliated with any government body. The documents are publicly sourced from the African Union, and the app exists to make them reachable rather than to reinterpret them.
